More than 2000 animals from 250 species from Africa, North and South America live in natural habitats at the 85-acre park. Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge is an "Incorporated Animal Shelter" for the big cats. Tiger Creek provides rescue and rehabilitation of big cats that have been abused, neglected, or displaced.

Tyler Civic Ballet is made up of 20 local dancers from East Texas aging from 11 to 20. The purpose of the Tyler Civic Ballet is to provide opportunities for both dancers and East Texas audiences to experience the fine art of dance at the highest possible quality. This is accomplished through classroom instruction, special workshops, and reasonably-priced performances. Tyler Civic Ballet helps provide scholarship assistance to deserving dancers for advanced studies.

The Dewberry Plantation
The Dewberry Plantation is open for visitors interested in one of the most historic locations in all of East Texas. Colonel John Dewberry (1794-1897) came to Texas in 1835 after serving in the War of 1812 and quickly established himself as one of the most influential men in the forward development of this section of the Pineywoods.
